Oh, Brian! How could you not use it as an excuse to give us a few pics of blokes in boxers - something you have deprived us of for a very long time now?
Hi, Peter, yes I have known Bryan and his work for many years now. I own a BT painting of Puddleglum which he made for the Radio Times when the BBC serialised my dramatisation of C S Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia. We did an event together at the Barbican last year (as part of their 'surreal' exhibition) and talked about Lewis Carroll, Alice - and Sunderland!
But thank you, because if I hadn't known of it, I would certainly have wanted to!
I have a soft spot for the Disney film - there are great sequences. Between October and December, I made mosaics for these (not 'mosaics' as what artists do) but a breakdown of who animated who in each scene based on the studio documents. It's all on the web.

"As you very well know, it's not what Suzanne and I had in mind - but it will have to do in the meantime!"
Hi Brian, just wondered, with your interest in Alice, have you read Bryan Talbot's book "Alice in Sunderland"?
