GHOST OF REGGAE PAST

A late review (Barking and Dagenham Post, no less!) of my stage version of A Christmas Carol has just showed up...



Not sure what Mr Dickens would make of the following account of how his story was interpreted:

Another highlight... is the apparition of BOB MARLEY, who first descends on Scrooge's bedchamber portending his upcoming encounter with the spirit world.

Cue the Wailers!!

    Not only that, but describing Bob's appearance as like something out of a 'hammer horror', suggests either a very nasty murder, or that some of the puppets might not have been put together too well, rather than from a Hammer Horror film.

    If my memory is correct one of Bob Marley's most famous numbers was 'Redemption Song'.

    Seems appropriate!
