Just got back from Devon in time to submit Mr B ! Would have been very annoyed to miss it. It's a tough one though as there are no male models to give the usual comments to.
I'm sorry to ask this here, and please feel free to not approve the comment if you don't think it is appropriate, but do you know if your recent map books with John Howe will be released in the U.S.? I'll order the UK editions if I have to, but of course I'd rather save a bit of money if they are planned for release over here.
I don't have any details of US editions, Carl, but the slip-cased edition of Maps of Middle-earth contains much the same material although John Howe has made some new pencil sketches for these individual hardcover editions.
Oh, thanks Brian. I got the impression that these were re-releases of either something different or something expanded. I do have the wonderful boxed set of Maps of Middle-earth.

ReplyDeleteThank you.

ReplyDeleteOh, yes, and that one volume edition is published in the US by Houghton Mifflin.

ReplyDeleteAs I say, the latest volumes contain new pencil drawings by John Howe and correction to the text, but the colour maps remain unchanged.
