The end of our fifteenth sojourn in la Serenissima...
As has lately been the case when leaving, we are unsure when, or if, we will return. The Queen of the Adriatic says, "Si!", but my aging joints say, "Non sono sicuro!"
So we hope...
But, whatever the answer, this exquisite city will remain in my heart for ever!

I hope that you had a great time - and that you will be able to return there.
Beautiful shot. Reminders like this will surely work to entice you back for a visit.
Thanks, Sharon! Back home, after a rather delayed flight and longer delayed arrival. It's colder here (certainly in our flat!) than in Venice – and a lot less picturesque! :)
Thank you, Robert, I was rather pleased with this particular shot! Every now and again, just when I tell myself that we have photographed this city to the point of tedium, she rewards us with a gem! La Serenissima is a gracious and generous hostess!
The Three Wise Men told me yesterday: Brian should not say never again... I'm sure Venezia will be there waiting for you.
Thank you for the message, Eudora. We are normally in Venice for Epiphany (we left a day earlier this year because we had to be back for a meeting) so it was very good to get word from the 3WM via yourself! :)
Brian, it looks like you and David had a great time celebrating the New Year in style. I hope it won't be your last visit to the city.
