That was very funny, thanks for sharing!
Kind of gives yet another meaning to that phrase, what with Neil Gaiman having all sort of creepy things living in said gap!
Is that genuine? The writing seems very neat.
I suppose any train journey these days IS a leap of faith!

To allay any suspicions: it is genuine; the staff at Oval Underground station display a new 'Thought of the Day', every day... You'd see more of them only I have to use my Oyster card in order to be able to photograph them...
"mind the gap, mind the gap" or "mind the gap, please"... I remember my visit to London, years ago, my friends and I thought that perhaps the londoners had big problems with that gap, perhaps many people fell continually down that gap...
Oh, we do,EUDORA, we do! All the time!!
