DOLPH-INFORMATION

Despite being among the most intelligent mammals on the planet (remember Flipper?) it seems that dolphins are now required (no doubt under some EU legislation) to carry a vast amount of health and safety information around with them...

Sited and captured on film by David Weeks.

I think I prefer Flipper!

Trouble is, if you try to read the information whilst on this dolphin, I should imagine there's a greater chance of falling off.

I like the little symbol on the side for (I assume) "read the instruction manual".

Maybe it was ignoring such sage advice that led to this recent sad event:

Another Birthday gift? Well at least dolphin and Bambi will be fairly silent on the journey home, with the wind taken out of their sails!

Just for the record, Flipper was not a birthday present: David just happened to spot him washed up on the beach... He (Flipper not David) was later taken off into captivity by a very small child! :)

It's fun to think how far we've come when simply stating "Not a flotation device" was the only statement they might print on these things.
