SEA-THRU

Many visitors, on arriving in Emporios, dash into the Mini-Market and come out clutching flippers, snorkels and masks. But actually, they're really not that necessary: all you have to do is stand very still in the sea and look down through the crystal clear water and the secrets of the undersea world are instantly revealed.

And what of the fish…? Do they look up at our gargantuan forms moving through the waves, our feet ploughing through the seaweed forests and trampling over the rock hills of their seascape whilst towering like colossi into the world of air and light and upper blueness which they can never hope to inhabit.

If so, then are we terrifying alien invaders or, perhaps, just the mysteriously powerful gods of their piscian mythologies?

Oh, my God! I'd totally forgotten the Eyeballs in the Sky and the rock-pool crabs worshipping of Boot the dog!

Thanks for reminding me of one of the GREAT comic strips...
