"OLD COMPOSERS NEVER DIE..."

"...THEY JUST GET RE-ARRANGED!"

Searching the internet for recordings of The Magic Flute (as requested by a friend for whom it is to be a Christmas present), I came across the following somewhat surprising listing:

Mozart:
The Magic Flute

performed by
London Philharmonic Orchestra,

Geoffrey Mitchell Choir,
Charles Mackerras

and
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart!

It's really reassuring to know that 'Wolfie' is still merrily music-making after all these years!

For other fun stuff on WAM, stop by the The Mozart Cafe.
