Today
is the
109th
birthday
of
THEODORE Dr Seuss GIESEL
and how better to celebrate
the good Doctor than with his
life-affirming final book
Oh, the Places You'll Go!
as presented by the folk at the
2011 Burning Man event in
Black Rock Desert, Nevada, USA
And if you are interested in seeing more of Burning Man, here are images from Burning Man 2012.

Dr Seuss is still tragically under-rated.My favourite is The Star-Bellied Sneetches which doesn't seem to be around much now but is a fantastic moral fable.Following on from that The Zax, Mr Brown and Hop on Pop...oh and Green Eggs and Ham. What a fine body of work !
"I can't blab such blibber-blubber.My tongue isn't made of rubber" Well sir, bring your tongue this way...we'll find it something it CAN say....
Yes, I love the Sneetches, too and the film version of their story is here.
Dr Suess was a much-loved component of my kidhood--I lived in those books. Never met one I didn't like, but 'Yertle the Turtle and other stories' was the one I re-read the most.
His personal pantings were magnificent, too!
I think you meant "personal paintings", but Dr S would have liked "personal pantings"!
Great to see the video again after all these years !
