GOING TO THE DOGS

Anyway, this current attack of mutt-mania probably explains why he spotted a curious indicator message on the Northern Line the other day...


With the speed - but, sadly, not the steady hand - of a member of the paparazzi, I snapped off a couple of shots before the message changed and the train arrived...

Anyway, it subsequently occurred to me that here might be a great publishing idea: The Ruff-Guide to London.

This useful volume would be primarily aimed at those who choose to observe London Transport's injunction that 'DOGS MUST BE CARRIED' on escalators (see D.
