I'm so pleased to see you've written about Bradbury on here, especially Golden Apples of the Sun. It amazes me that all reprints of the book (as far as I know) have retained the Mugnaini illustrations. It's hard to think of any of those stories - A Sound of Thunder, The Fruit at the Bottom of the Bowl, The Murderer - WITHOUT Mugnaini's interpretation popping into my head.
