CUP-AND-SORCERY

“We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is, knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out…”

I'm so pleased to see you've written about Bradbury on here, especially Golden Apples of the Sun. It amazes me that all reprints of the book (as far as I know) have retained the Mugnaini illustrations. It's hard to think of any of those stories - A Sound of Thunder, The Fruit at the Bottom of the Bowl, The Murderer - WITHOUT Mugnaini's interpretation popping into my head.
