Haven't these people ever heard of CALENDARS? This "forward planning" really INFURIATES me!
The women accross the road from me decorates her window for Halloween on 1st October, then as soon as that "feast"(?) is out of the way, up go the Christmas decorations. Puts me right off my Christmas spirit - why should I bother with tinsel or holly or all of that when all I have to do is look out of my window!

I always thought you two lived a cosmopolitan London lifestyle. I couldn't imagine you popping to the Co-Op for your groceries. It doesn't seem right somehow.

SUZANNE - I've got used to seeing Christmas stuff in the shops from September onwards, but HCBs six months AFTER (or BEFORE) Easter is perverse...

Maybe someone high up in the Co-op is devoutly religious...

BOLL - Sorry to disappoint you, we occasionally have to make do with the Co-op when James has the day off and is unable to run us up to the food hall at Harrods... ;-)
