Impatient Tolkien fans looking for a way to pass the time till their copy arrives, may like to pop down to the local party shop, buy a couple of thousand balloons and create their very own blow-up Bag End.
Here's all you have to do....
So, even Middle-earth, it seems, is not immune to the effects of inflation!

I don't even know what to say about this Blown Up Bag End - I've never seen anything like it! Congratulations (in 3 days) on your Hobbit Movie Guide - I'm sure I'll be ordering for Christmas!
I know what a big supporter you are of animation...when you have a minute, I'd be honored if you would take a look at my son's Kickstarter page for his CalArts senior film project, "The Claytheist". (he's got 3 days to go too), and leave a comment if you like it. :)
Disney started CalArts back in the '60's - my son has had a wonderful experience there and couldn't be happier or more fulfilled as an artist. Now the really hard work begins!
Here's the link: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1761596428/the-claytheist// (If it won't open, you can also just type: opentheportal.com into your address bar, and it will take you to his page).
Thanks!

Ooooohh!, These children must be delighted with his father... thank you for the video Mr. Sibley.
I am exhausted just watching him! Quite amazing!

I can see an official approach to the author for signed copies. I have people slobbering in anticipation at the mere thought of it at this end !
Wendy - Enjoyed the clever trailer for David & Micha's film. I wish them great good luck and look forward to seeing more. CalArts was very important to Walt Disney and (along with the studio bearing his name) is his legacy.
Eudora – I wouldn't like to be around when all those balloons were being popped!
Michael – Yes, leaves you breathless!
Boll – Usual (mates) rates apply! ;)
Quite a feat of artistry! Hope that's not the same clothes he was wearing for the entirety.
Ordered the book ages ago - glad the wait is nearly over.
I won't make any comments about his small son running in with a pin and letting him down...
Thank you Brian for your kind words and for taking a peek at the Kickstarter - they did it! Goal was reached about five minutes before the deadline. Breathing a sigh of relief for them. :)
I'm so glad. I would really have liked to have helped financially, but unfortunately wasn't able to do so at the point when they needed it... Hope I can give some other form of encouragement later.
